Research/Coming up with an idea

After watching many flash animations and being inspired by the professional standard at which they have been made to, I felt I needed to do this project justice and come up with an idea which not necessarily meant using the most interesting statistics, but at least portray it in an interesting way which the audience would enjoy watching and remember it. I began thinking of the different topics I was interested in myself as this would mean I'd have more motivation in doing the project.

I ended up wanting to do something related to biology. This is when I remembered hearing a statistics about how a banana's DNA is 50% similar to that of a humans'. I found this fact fascinating and thought this was the way to go. Though I soon realised this idea would be difficult to develop, there was no argument I could find that would be intriguing and worth arguing about. So I then began branching off into different areas, but still going with the biology them. I looked briefly into how chimps are 99% similar to humans in terms of their DNA. The subject of using animals then became my main focus. The idea of Human vs Animal gradually evolved, how animals are better than humans.
