Quark Lesson 2

Second lesson on Quark, learning about inserting images and text and creating actual layouts for our booklets.

First page, had the idea of taking a type and tape image and photoshopping in my name to the description of the exhibition in the background. Couldn't quite get the look I wanted, didn't fit my grid properly and looked a bit boring.

The last page I merged the two images together to show how exactly my work links to and is inspired by Russ Mill's work. The other pages look quite dull in the layout so far, but I think I will keep the second page's layout with the image filling a lot of the page as it gives variety and a sense of the start of my booklet.

May include ice-cream icon on some of the pages acting as the page number, though will have to see if this overcrowds the pages. Need to work on the background of the pages to give it a depth and interest.
