Poole Trip

This whole blog phenomenon isn’t all that new to me seeing as I’m used to keeping another online journal somewhere else, doesn’t help that that’s a ranting journal and a place for me to completely destroy the use of abusive language. Will have to be subtler on what I say and learn to use more grammatically correct verbal communication. Oh Dear…

So, starting the course, a bit boring at first I must say. But not long after are we whisked off to Poole for a class trip, a bit unexpected but a nice surprise after a long week of administration work. The day turns out to be a productive one, the weather has treated us well and we return with a mountain of photos, which is always nice.

The Monday back, we are briefed on our new Poole project, would have been useful to have had the information before we actually went to Poole methinks, but nonetheless I begin to get the sense of excitement as my mind starts filling with all sorts of new ideas. Haven’t felt like this for ages, it feels great. The idea of regeneration immediately strikes me with images of the old and new buildings of Poole. I begin to jot down different ways I could visually communicate the architecture in an interesting way. Though, afraid that everyone will end up with the same result, I decide to take another turning and structure my idea around the nature in Poole and how this would be affected by the regeneration.
